Never-ending snow
I think it has been snowing non-stop since December 23rd. This is my office view right now. The flakes are the big cotton ball-kind that cover up everything in sight.

Gaggle invasion
Backyard has become a landing zone for every goose on the east coast… they are swarming the docks, yards, farmers fields, and perching on the spillway like a bunch of pigeons.

The Finger Lakes are a favorite spot of traveling geese. There are times the honking is so loud you can’t have a conversation outside.
Lunch
I think I was spoiled in Northwest Ohio. It seemed to be the restaurant chain proving ground. Here in Central New York, everything within range is a diner… which isn’t a bad thing. (Wendy’s and McDonald’s are a 45 minute round trip.) Lunch yesterday was in an amazing historic home converted into a restaurant.
